This occurs because onboard audio will limit the machine to the low level output used before an amplifier which will not work well for microphones which is why most full systems have a separate component mixer altogether. To avoid this problem, a separate mixer board was built in! To guarantee singer's voices sound better,  you will also be able to adjust the key 13 steps.
